Preston City Congregational Church

Rev. Stan White has been the pastor of the Preston City Congregational Church since January 1985. Before graduating with his Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School, he pursued an education in music. He graduated from Barrington College with a Bachelor's degree in Music, majoring in Piano and Voice.

He founded the Preston Community Chorus in 1987, and served as its Director for twelve years. During that time, he also formed and directed the Preston Community Youth Chorus. He has also taught music in local school systems. Most recently, Rev. Stan White has formed the Voices of Christmas Chorus in Preston, which presents annual concerts for the community. He also teaches piano to students of all ages.

Rev. White resides in Voluntown.
