This great nation, the
United States of America, Home of the Brave,
Land of the Free........has just endured one of the
greatest tragedies
in our history. But as one of our state senators
recently stated,
there is a very distinct message being sent to the
enemies of freedom
and the United States. You
thought you could prey upon our goodness because you
thought it
was a weakness. You will soon find it to be our
greatest strength and
you will feel the weight of that power. When you
attack America,
you attack the very lamp of liberty and this torch of
freedom will
never be extinguished or even dimmed by your cowardly
acts. Rather,
your deeds meant for evil will actually arouse the
passions, patriotism,
and righteousness of a nation that has for too long
forgotten its true
source of strength. All
we have to do is turn on a television or radio, open a
newspaper, or just
step out our front door and we can see the true colors
of this nation, as we
rally together. We will get through this together,
and because
of this, we will rise from tragedy stronger, greater and
more united
than we have ever been. Our weaknesses have been
pointed out, and this
nation learns from our mistakes. As our president
said to the rescue
workers today,
"I hear you, the nation hears you, and the
people
who knocked down these buildings will hear all of us." Pray
for our leaders and all of the leaders of the world.
Pray for guidance as we move forward from here.
Pray that as we act, we do not become the evil we
deplore.
Pray that we realize that our source of strength and
peace
lies in our faith in God. God

God Bless the families.
God Bless the children.
