Dear Dad,

Thank you for being my father. Just to sire a child
does not necessarily make a father. A father is
someone who is always there for you, even when
you are wrong. Someone who continues to love and
support you, even when you fail. Someone who
guides and directs you in the way of Christ and
someone who prays for you everyday! If you
never did another thing, you are still a great man,
for all the things you have taught me,
all you have done and all that you are.
You have been a wonderful light for Christ.

You taught me about love by loving me.
You taught me about faith by believing in me.
You taught me compassion by caring for me.
You taught me understanding when I failed.
You taught me strength through your support.
You taught me caring by always having open arms.
You taught me about Jesus through your daily living,
as a wonderful example and witness for Christ.

When God made fathers, you are just what He had
in mind. I am so lucky that He gave me you!
I love you, you are my hero.
You deserve so much more than I can give,
not only on Father's Day.......but every day.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the earthly father that you blessed me with.
Thank you for your Word, which he has taught me,
and help me to be a light for others. You are the Father
to the Fatherless and we praise you.
We pray in the name of Jesus,
