Words
of comfort for the grieving heart

One
day you will read in the newspaper that I am dead.
Don't believe it for a moment.
I will be more alive than ever before!

Standing
immersed in the passageway, unable to decide
which direction to go. At one end there is a
familiar,
distorted light. At the other, the most brilliant light
anyone
could ever imagine. One end surrounded by
uncertainty
and longing, the other by certainty and
fulfillment,
with a magnetic pull to join the radiance......

Those
left behind to grieve death are filled with grief and
mourning, but little do they realize that what lies
ahead in the
radiance is not the lack of life ~ but Life
itself! Not the end,
but the beginning! It is not the end of a
relationship, only an
interruption. Today's inadequate goodbye in this
place will
be followed by a wondrous hello in another.
We
hope that you will always keep God's promises close
to your heart when you lose a loved one. He
promises
that He will one day wipe away all tears and until that
day He gives us the faith to sustain. The faith that we
will one
day be reunited for eternity in our true home, which God
has
prepared for those who love Him. This life is
temporary,
what awaits us in Heaven is eternal.
What
follows in these pages are just small reminders
to hold on to that faith and look forward to the day
we will all meet again on that Eastern shore.
