The firefighters' angel
is the answer to their prayer.
When, in distress, they call on God,
His angel will be there.
The firefighters' angel,
on duty and on call,
uplifts, sustains and comforts,
and holds them when they fall.
The firefighters' angel,
ever-present and aware,
keeps the valiant firefighter
in God's tender care.
The firefighters' angel
is the guardian of the brave-
those who risk their lives,
that others might be saved.
God knows when they're in trouble;
He hears their urgent call
and sends His guardian angels
in answer to them all.
