God's Message

God left a loving message, 
tucked inside the heart of me.
He defined His love and mercy 
and what He did to set me free.

Accept my loving hand my child, 
in times of sorrow, pain and fear.
Find comfort in the knowledge 
that I am always near.

I was with you when you faltered, 
I held you when you fell.
The love I have for you my child, 
saved you from the pangs of hell.

I loved you when you struggled; 
I was with you in despair.
The sacrifice I made for you 
confirms how much I care.

I loved you when you failed me; 
I loved you when you won.
Because I love you dearly, 
I sent my only Son.

I hung upon a rugged cross; 
I suffered in your place.
I paved your way to heaven 
with love and saving grace.
