Every October the friends and members of Oakesdale First Baptist Church put together a Harvest Festival for the kids of Oakesdale and surrounding areas. The Harvest Festival is a Halloween alternative and exposes the children to biblical stories, information and principles through the use of home made games. Currently we are running the following games:

  • The Sea of Galilee (fish pond)
  • The Savour Soda Fountain (ring toss)
  • Let Your Light Shine (skeet-like game)
  • Bible Blinko
  • Gos-Ball (teaches the names of the four Gospel writers)
  • Bible B-Ball
  • Narrow is the way (Clothspin drop)
  • Bible Puzzler (put together a biblical scene)
  • Trinity Spin and Putt (putt golf ball in hole game)
  • Seek and Find (New Testament hidden in shredded paper)
  • David and Goliath (five foam balls thrown to knock of Goliath's head)
  • Four in the Furnace (bean bag toss game)
  • Donah Be A Jonah (pin the tail on the donkey-like game)
  • Noah's Ark (matching game).
