Legend of the Candy Cane Bookmark

This is a great craft.  It is a nice bookmark to carry in your Bible and makes a wonderful present for Sunday School teachers, pastors, grandparents and friends.

Supplies

  • card stock to print the bookmark pattern on
  • scissors to cut the pattern
  • hole punch to punch holes in the pattern
  • clear contact paper
  • red yarn or red ribbon to lace the bookmark
  • beads to tie off the end

Directions

  1. Print out the pattern on card stock.
  2. Cut the bookmarks out and cover the front with contact paper.
  3. Punch holes along the sides and top.
  4. Lace red yarn through the holes starting and ending at the top.  Leave about 6 inches at the top.
  5. Tie the ends of the yarn together, add some beads and tie the yarn together again so the beads wont fall off.
