Who Is On The Lord's Side? Today there is a "Revival" move, And many think they are in the groove. All kinds of sermons with jokes - For all those gullible folks. Lined up at Joel's Bar - Thinking they saw a star. They wallow around on the floor, And they can't find the door. The message is "Laugh Tonight" While they all act up-tight. Their Holy Spirit must not know what to do - Because He is stuck to the floor in glue. The unknown tongue is so strange - Even God don't know the thing. - Old simple me still believes in the Trinity, And getting treasures in Eternity. The message that I receive - Comes from the Bible I believe. I am so old fashioned you know - I don't believe in putting on a show. I believe God is true, And He will never leave you. It is by faith I am saved - Not by the works I gave. The Holy Spirit is the teacher - Of every saint & good old preacher. My learning will not end - Until in heaven I begin. I still think hell is a real place, And God is full of mercy and grace. He forgives the repentant ones - That come by faith to His Son. Not one of His chosen few - Will end in hell's stew. Jesus will surely come again - He sits in heaven to reign. God has no beginning or end - He forgives men of sin. He does not only walk with me in stride - He abides with me inside. He will not tell a lie He does not have to try. His strength is beyond imagination - He is the Master of all His creation. He is the true and living God - With a chastening rod. Praise belongs to him alone - Come bow before His throne! Who is on the Lord's side?
