What We Need
God promises to supply our need
This will be His finest deed.
He decides what we all need,
And on what we will feed.
We think of many things we want,
But of what we need we just don't.
It seems that with God we don't agree
Because those trinkets are not free.
We must obey the rules He sets
If we expect to pass His test.
Most every time God sends us rain
Man will just fuss and complain.
If God gives man health
He begs God for wealth.
When God gives food to eat
He wants more meat.
If God gives to man some land
He wants more of a helping hand.
When the hope seems dim
They just blame it on Him.
Even if we have a bad day
It teaches us to better pray.
God knows just what to provide,
But man wants more in his pride!
