War
When the war starts and begins
Only God can cause it to end.
Who is the cause of wars that come?
Not the President or a "sun of a gun."
The bullets will begin to fly,
And the weak will just cry.
Pain will cover their faces,
And war will rage in many places.
The hearts of men will grow cold,
And the story will again be told:
How they killed their brother,
And hated one another.
There is no hope in such rage,
But the actors are all on the stage.
Only God can cause the war to end
Only God can make men friends.
The blood flows on the ground,
And there is a woeful sound.
We do not understand its cause,
But we know man has many flaws.
Men stand confused by war
And many attend some local bar.
Sin fills the heart of man,
But salvation is God's plan.
Not every soul will repent of sin
Not everyone will welcome Jesus in.
So war will continue to rage
Until Jesus Christ takes center stage!
