Little Victoria

She is a special little child,

But sometimes gets a sort of wild.

She has been my only grand,

And I think that is her plan.

She likes all of the attention

At least this is my suspicion.

She likes to play school with me,

But she is the teacher you see?

When she comes we have fun,

But she keeps me on the run.

She likes strawberries to eat

Because she thinks they are sweet.

She can eat a quart at a time

This boggles my mind.

When she was a small baby girl

She liked broccoli with cheese swirl.

I am so amazed by her desires

She can set my heart on fire.

When she was only two

She was too young to say, "shoo"

The flowers had a real live bee

That was what her little eyes could see.

Strange as it may seem to you

My granddaughter is long passed two.

But she is always special to me,

And will be when she is past ninety-three!
