The Spirit of the Lord did come

To His servants everyone.

At Pentecost when they waited,

And then they celebrated.

The Holy Spirit spoke through them

In the language of the people back then.

Every one could clearly understand

The message God had sent to man.

Jews from every nation

Could hear  the interpretation.

The crowds by them were so amazed

They thought it was a drunken craze.

However men from every nation

Could understand their conversation.

Today missionaries go to other nations

To translate the Bible's inspirations.

Today we have computers to translate

The Words of God for those who wait.

Without the Spirit they can't understand

The message of God in any other land.

So faith comes when they hear the Word

It does not come until they have heard.

However men know that there is a God

Nature reveals Him even the sod.

They worship blindly trees, animals and such,

But with the real God they have lost touch.

So God sends out the Word by you and me

So the rest of the world can plainly see.

We are His hands and His feet here below
