Two Mites The widow's two mites ~ A sacrifice in the Lord's sight. What will you give ~ Each day you live. Will you find an excuse ~ Not to be of any use. What do you think it would be ~ That would last for eternity. Would He be pleased to see ~ Just some more money. Remember God owns everything ~ When your offerings you bring. The simple things may be a lot, But to some it would not. God seeks your sacrifice of praise ~ As each of us worship and pray. Dollars don't amount to much ~ Unless your heart is in touch. When you want to share your best ~ Then God knows you will invest. It you should keep the whole amount, And forget your money to count. God understands greed real well, And the place for them is called hell. He loves a cheerful giver ~ And a faithful believer. He knows the motive deep within ~ Dishonesty to Him is a sin. Count your blessings add up the score ~ Then you will be willing to give more. Remember it is not how large the gift ~ Do you get my drift?
