The Truth He tells the good old story About God's love and glory. The message is so pure, But who can long endure? It is the strangest thing to me How we abuse this liberty. Worship God is a command, But stubborn is the race of man. We love to sail the open sea The vacation is a mystery. Sit and watch the football game All is done in Jesus name. There just isn't enough time to pray, And read the Bible every day. However going to the beach Is never out of man's reach. The day of worship is refused, And it is not properly used. Work and play is on man's mind God is always left behind. The story is truly old you know? Pharaoh would not let the people go. They lived as slaves in Egypt's land Because they kept rejecting God's plan. In Babylon they were captives too Because the rules they would not do. God had sent judgment time after time, But man appears to still be blind! Poem written by: Lena Ayer Kittrell Webpage designed by: Lena Ayer Kittrell Midi "Adventure" written by: Lena Ayer Kittrell
