True Joy There is a joy deep inside ~ The joy that forever abides. Some may dance all around ~ Some make crazy little sounds. They may laugh their heads off, But my joy is silently soft. I can't understand the excess ~ Of how some are impressed. Just sit and think for a while ~ About why you smile. Could that be a silly thing ~ To you a smile brings? Some are caught in the glow ~ Of another's shadow. Seemingly they are great men, But they are full of sin. Self control is the secret key ~ To how to be truly happy. When you fall into confusion ~ The whole thing is an illusion. Satan is the author of such things ~ Confusion and deceit are his offerings. The Bible has much to say ~ To teach us the right way. Do not heed visions of angels or men ~ They will only lead to sin. I have had dreams it's true, But nothing I want to tell you. Some spirits cannot be trusted ~ After such.... men have lusted. The Holy Spirit tells of Christ ~ He never tells you lies. God's Word will lead you right ~ To the Everlasting Light. Keep your thoughts clean and pure ~ God's Word will forever endure. True joy is deep within ~ Knowing God has forgiven your sin!
