Sweet Violet Little clusters on the ground in circles all around. Purple, velvet, soft blooms Picked to put in the room. They cling to the earth low, And push the ice and snow. They meet the early Spring They are the prettiest things. Humble and simple flowers They arrive after early showers. It reminds me of Christ's sacrifice, and the way He lived His life. Purple velvet robes for the King Yet He never bragged about anything. He had a lowly birth When He came to earth. He was crushed by the masses, and those of high classes. His glory was all around shining on the ground. Sweet Breath of Life is He Unnoticed His Spirit lives in me. Sweet Violet!
