A Smile

All the people we meet each day
Have so many different ways.
Life is a difficult way to go,
But kindness will not hurt you know.
Never did I like to see a frown
When I walked the street down town.
Some even have a blank stare on their face,
And others look like they are in a race.
It’s hard to feel good when it rains,
Or when you have lots of pains.
No one likes to see us feeling so blue,
Nor do we want you to have the flu.
I am most impressed by a smile someone wears,
And the person who shows they care.
So put a smile on your face,
And thank God for His grace!
