Savannah House
A visit to bless the sick one
With great intentions for that to be done.
I shared my talent with her that day
We even bowed our heads to pray.
We talked of family and friends
She really welcomed me in.
I am sad that she did not feel well
But we went on with our stories to tell.
Sweet lady that shares her life
She has been a wonderful mom and wife.
The time seemed to pass so fast,
But good things never last.
So the time had come for me to go,
And leave her place real slow.
Waving at each other as the wheels turned,
And my heart began within me to burn.
She gave me a gift to bless me
I will keep the Savannah house you see.
One day I will come to visit again
I hope she will not be in pain.
Please Lord, Thy will be done,
And I hope you will heal this one.
Savannah house is calling me
To this place back in my memory!
