The Red, White & Blue

"Let Every soul be subject to the higher powers, For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."

(Romans 13:1 KJV)

Red is for the blood that was shed for me

Of the men who died on the land and sea.

Every drop of blood that fell

Is another story to tell.

Stripes upon the backs of men

That suffered for my freedom to win.

White is for purity of right

For which the men do fight.

they defend our homes and land

Oh, Yes they take a stand.

Blue is for our hopes and dreams

Over every river, lake, or stream.

Making safe the world for all

As on the battlefield our men fall.

Should I be ashamed of the red, white, and blue

That stands for freedom for

me and you?

"Let Every soul be subject to the higher powers, For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."

(Romans 13:1)
