Predestination
(Ephesians Chapter 1)
Some say God saw their choice,And listened to their deciding voice.
They seem to think man has his way
When it comes to that judgment day.
They say God saw man before time,
And man made up his own mind.
Man is as dead in sin as can be,
And can not by himself see.
Not until God opens their eyes
Will their sin they ever realize.
Predestined by God I do believe
In the mind of God salvation was conceived.
He made the choice of which I am pleased
My response was in repentance on my knees.
God did not make me come,
But by Him I was welcomed.
Because of God's plan for man
Heaven is in great demand.
However man wants to work his way
Even if it's only the words he has to say.
We can not earn the golden gates
In God's hand is our fate.
Our righteousness is as filthy rags
So man can't get to God if he nags.
In those He has chosen to be saved
Christ righteousness is well behaved.
No merit can I claim
It is by the blood of Jesus that I came.
God deserves the praise of all
Predestination is God's own call!
