Perfection God has some rules ~ We are all in His school. His standard is very high ~ It is doing everything right. We must pass the test, And do our very best. It is a challenge to do ~ Being right and true. He did not leave us without a book ~ The Bible is where we must look. It is the guide for everyday ~ It shows us the right way. The rules are written there ~ They are all very clear. We must follow each one ~ Until they are all done. But to save us from this grueling task ~ We must but simply ask. And the perfect mediator will take our place ~ Before the school Master's face. The mediator's name is Jesus Christ ~ He is all wise. He has taken on our chore, And relieved the burden for evermore. No longer do I suffer the dread ~ But now I have an A+ instead!
