Peaceful Heart
The joy deep within
Just blowing in the wind.
It is the very best
That you can invest.
Day by day
Following the way.
The mystery is revealed,
And your heart unsealed.
Like a gentle breeze
Blowing in the trees.
The patient Spirit speaks
As your heart beats.
"Come unto me
I will set you free.
My mercy is to all
That hear my gentle call."
Who will trust this voice,
And make Him your choice?
He never leaves you alone
He seeks to atone.
My heart leaps within
Because I hear Him once again.
"I love you still
I always will."
The smile comes to my face
As I look out into space.
He is truly there ~
Here and everywhere.
Why did my tears flow
With so much sorrow?
I had truly never seen
That I need no self-esteem.
He is all I need
For me He intercedes.
Peace fills my heart as I see
Jesus Christ lives in me!
