October The moon is glowing , And it's beauty is showing. The leaves fall from the tree As the autumn winds blow free. We stand and ponder the sky And stop to wonder why? The Lord would paint this way After the brightness of the day. His glory can be seen at night In the glowing of the moon Light. Colors of purple, orange, and gold He was thinking of man's soul. Hidden deep within the heart God has done His very best art. No one would ever suspect That God does not neglect. The things that are not seen The eyes don't focus on this scene. Only God knows the Treasures Locked deep beyond all pleasures. Some think of tricks and magic To me this is so tragic. Greater things are to be found Above this world's earthen ground. The soul of man is so secure God keeps the key it will endure. October says it's not too late To think that our God is great!
