Not in the Kingdom 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Please don't be deceived About what you believe. Some will not be there When you look everywhere. The doors will be shut that day, And they can not come His way. Many will think that all is well, But they will be bound for hell. There are only a chosen few That will be made brand new. It is not by works we may do That God has chosen His few. Who then will be left out When the trumpet sounds loud? There will be no adulterers in that place When we come to see Jesus face. Homosexuals cannot come in To the kingdom for saved men. Greedy people can't take a part Because of their wicked heart. Drunkards surely cannot belong To God's chosen throng. There is no room for slanderers Or for wrong money handlers. Many more will not be there When you search everywhere. You can't hold on to your sin If you want to be God's friend. You must repent and put evil away Or perish on Judgment Day! Poem written by: Lena Ayer Kittrell Background designed by: Lena Ayer Kittrell 2-15-2004 |
