| A Gift From The Heart
As the rain fell on the window glass, And sparkled and glistened on the grass. I thought of the gifts of the heart At first I didn't know where to start. Then God revealed it to me There are so many gifts you see. We have food to eat each day we live, And a roof over our head God did give. He shared with me a heart of caring, And the art of doing my own sharing. Because a message just flows from my heart One I hope that will be worthy to impart. He put this in my thoughts I hope to understand what is taught. He pressed on me this gift of plenty, And I am grateful to Him for so many. Just to follow His precious sweet call I want to give to Him my best, my all. He causes me to long for a closer walk, And this is not just simple talk. Now the rain has almost stopped dead still, But I am interested only in doing the Father's Will!
