My Prayer

I bow my head and pray

Asking God each day

To give me peace of mind,

And help the lost and blind.

That revival would soon come,

And help the lonely ones.

Give me a gentle heart,

And from me never part.

O' God I pray to Thee

Give me security.

Teach me Thy Word

That I have often heard.

Keep my feet on the way

As I walk day by day.

Give me love for everyone,

And for your precious Son.

Anoint my head with oil

After the long days toil.

Awaken my soul anew
