Best Friends We are special childhood friends. A friendship that will never end. Many trials have come, But we remain as one. The time slips fast away As we journey from day to day. We travel on a long hard road Each with life's heavy load. Going to find a moment in time Where we can find peace of mind. Nothing can separate our hearts It has been that way from the start. We like a simple conversation Without a formal invitation. We meet at the same old place, And parting is with God's grace. No matter where we go in life Together we overcome the strife. We think alike about everything, And our prayers are an offering. When life is finished down here We will be friends up there....... Yes, we will be friends up there.. Best Friends!
