Happiness

Happiness is not a place you go

It is not the wealth you grow.

Happiness can’t be found in nature

It is not obtained by any venture.

The fluttering of the butterfly

Will only momentary satisfy.

A fling on a roll-a-coaster

Your happiness will not bolster.

A trip to some exotic place

Will end in being misplaced.

Happiness is not where or there or anywhere

Happiness in not found in air.

The things you possess will fail,

And put happiness in jail.

Only God can bring joy to you

He will make happiness true.

No more seeking for diamond rings,

And all that this world brings.

Then He gives you the real treasure

This is not obtained by pleasure.

In His Word you find the jewels

Searching over the golden rules.

When you discover this; my friend

Your happiness will truly begin!
