Let this mind be in you

Think on things that are true.

Fill your thoughts with things

That is good and kind joy to bring.

Tell yourself the best part,

And you will have a good start.

Just do what Jesus tells you to,

And your life will be fresh and new.

Think of the rose in bloom

Think of the stars and the moon.

Think of God's love for you,

And you will never be blue.

In your mind remember Calvary,

And how Jesus set you free.

Give thought to mom's chocolate cake,

And all the things she baked.

Remember Christmas night

When the star shown bright.

Think of a breeze

Blowing in the trees.

Spend some time with God in prayer,

And watch the birds in the air.

See the butterfly on the wing

Just stop and begin to sing.

Read God's word everyday

Just listen and obey.

Let this mind be in you,

And your life will be brand new!
