The Lighthouse
Lost out on the sea
Was this little ship you see.
In the tempest deep
I fell fast asleep.
My ship went astray,
And I couldn't find my way.
The waves passed over me
Out on the open sea.
My sails were torn,
And there was a storm.
The winds blew swift
On my little ship.
No hope was in sight
Out in the dark, dark night.
When all hope was gone,
And I was left alone
Just around the bend
I met my dearest friend.
The lighthouse on the shore
Guided me home forevermore!
