Life passed me by

Left with only tears to cry.

I searched for the dream

In countless schemes.

Everywhere I would go

I ended longing even more.

The mountains are swell

With stories to tell

The ocean waves at me,

But it is only the sea.

Houses and lands are nice

Take my advice

None of this will satisfy

When it's over you cry.

Nothing here for me

In all that I can see!

I look for greater things That God has prepared!
