This is what they say,

And it certainly seems that way.

The truth is concealed by who?

Those that don't tell you.

They want you to be blind

And remain with an empty mind.

The light may shine on some,

But the others are kept dumb.

They don't seem to care

That they are in despair.

The chains are all around,

But they don't hear the sound.

It doesn't appear to matter

So the wicked just flatter.

The secrets seem so sweet

It is packaged so neat.

Concealed from the masses

For only the upper classes.

The Devil wants it this way,

But he will pay on Judgment Day.

Why is he so pleased?

He doesn't want you to believe.

He tricked Eve the same way

From the Garden they were led away.

Flaming swords guarded the tree

That would last for eternity.

We are led down Eve's same path

Not understanding the aftermath.

The Sovereign God of the universe

Did not put steeples on the church.

The Serpent weaves his way,

And listens when you pray.

What do you want dear friend?

It could be a real big sin.

The Devil says, "you have time."

God says, "Repent ye blind."

One day everyone will surely see
