How Do I Know? The question is often asked as we grow How do I know? Life seems such a game ~ I wonder why Jesus came. The days pass so quickly by, But I still wonder why? I am such a wretched being ~ What is the meaning? I can't seem to find my way ~ No matter what they do or say. No one can tell me what is true ~ Has anyone ever told you? I cried inside with the pain ~ Hoping the answers to obtain. Then one day in a hotel room ~ Somewhere around noon. I looked in the dresser drawer ~ A Gideon Bible was what I saw. I started to read it line by line ~ Not paying attention to the time. The words seemed to speak to me ~ I couldn't imagine how I had been deceived. My heart was burdened deep inside ~ With the pages of the Bible open wide. I never knew that their was hope to find ~ All of my life I had been so blind. The hours passed unnoticed by me ~ I searched the verses with curiosity. I was there in the room all alone, But it seemed the Bilbe set the tone. I didn't understand but He was there ~ Because now I know He is everywhere. Jesus said, "I am the way" ~ Convicted ......I bowed to pray. Suddenly the burdens seemed to go ~ The question came, "How do I know?" Then He said, "I am the door" ~ "I am alive for evermore." All that I had searched for was in this Book ~ I thank The Lord on these pages I looked!
