In Search of Holiness

This is not a popular subject in our world today

Little thought is given to what they do and say.

Still I believe there are a few who long to be

More like God whom no one can see.

We study His might and His love, real good,

But how to be as holy we have not understood.

As a child of His I desire to be like Him,

If we seek His glory the Light will never dim.

He wants us to ask for the holiness to grow

When we walk more like Jesus it will show.

If our desire was truly right in His sight

Then He will daily give us even more Light.

To worship and adore Him on our knees

Is when our holiness, others begin to see.

In our heart we must remain bowed low,

But to the world our faces will begin to glow.

Joy will fill our soul just to have His grace,

And simply knowing we will one day see His face!
