His Star Jesus left His Throne on high To come to earth and die. All because man was lost, And only Jesus could pay the cost. He was seated in Royalty, But to God He prove His loyalty. When He left streets of gold To save man's wicked soul. Down here on the stable's sod He was the Son of God. People everywhere in The city of Bethlehem, But no one was welcoming Him. Busy as they went their ways They had traveled many days. It seemed that space was gone, And Mary and Joseph were far from home. They searched until very late, But Mary could not wait. The Child was soon to be born, And it seemed there was only scorn. One inn keeper finally offered his stable Where else could they go so unable? The darkness could not hide the Light That would shine this very night. To the world The Savior had come He fulfilled the prophecy of God's Son. O the joy to see His face Shining with such glory and grace. No matter how much time shall Pass us by There will always be His star in the sky. It will point us to the place Where we will find amazing grace! Written by: Lena Kittrell Copyright 2002 Midi Music Written by: Lena Kittrell & Dan Zigler "Glory, Hallelujah"
