Our Heroes

Our heroes fight to win,

As the war now begins.

President Bush thinks and prays

For the soldiers all day.

Saddam Hussein tries to kill,

And it gives his men a thrill.

Our soldiers march with gun in hand,

To defend our homeland.

The planes fly above their heads,

And there is no place for a bed.

Freedom is in their minds,

And they think of it at all times.

The tanks are closing in,

And the bullets fly again.

Our people wait for the news,

And Saddam has no clue what to do.

These fighting men,

Will surely win.

The enemy puts the women in front

As a wicked, evil stunt.

He has germ warfare in store,

And will destroy even the poor.

Our men have true grit,

And great wit.

Some of our men have died,

And their families have cried.

Our heroes succeed,

But they sometimes bleed.

Some of our troops have been taken prisoners of war

Fighting for our flag's strips and stars.

When the rockets fly in the air,

We know our men are there.

There is no doubt our men will rise to act,

When they have been attacked.

When the bombs burst in Iraq,

Our advance will be a fact.

Our heroes stand high and strong,

And Saddam Hussein just thinks of wrong!

The End
