Your Heart
I see your heart aches, And it often breaks. The angry words tear I can see your despair. You have much pain It happens again and again. Your lips are silent still, But your heart chills. The sorrow held inside Where you try to hide. The many burdens rest Heavy on your chest. In spite of all the trials Your prayers upward spiral. You have this deep assurance God will give you endurance. When others shout and curse You remember a Bible verse. You cling to the Vine Knowing that He is divine. No matter if the wind blows You will still cling and grow. The things of earth fall in place In the glow of the Master's face!
