He Will Still Be There When the people have all gone, And they have left you all alone. Jesus will still be there; To show that He cares. In times like this; Your Mother is missed. Just think when you were young; You were your Mothers dear son. She would cook you a special dish, And tried to fulfill your fondest wish. No matter where you will look down here; There will be no one like your Mother dear. Only by the love that Jesus gives; Can you find peace and still live. Trust in Him with all your might; Believe me He will make things right! Written by: Lena Kittrell June 10, 1999 Written for Clinton Metts Jr. after the death of his dear Mother Mrs. Thelma Metts. I know words can never show our heart fully in the loss of a dear loved one. I pray that this poem will in some way be of some comfort to Clinton and his family.
