Happiness You ponder thoughts of happiness, And how to be truly blessed. You think of places to go For your happiness to grow. Maybe a trip across the sea To some places like Hawaii. You consider a house or a car, And going to the local bars. Then you collect your thoughts, And wonder how it could be bought. You have traveled many places before, And walked on some foreign shores. You have had a new car in the past, But the happiness with it did not last. If you are searching for happiness my friend It is a chore that will never come to an end. If you are not happy as you are today Don't think you will find in anyway. Go to your house with a thankful heart Contentment there will play a big part. Enjoy the water that is in your glass Praise God for food in the past. Let the sun shine on your face Be thankful God has given you space. Just count your blessings one by one, And happiness will be the outcome!
