God Does Not Need We try to feel wanted ~ If we are not we are taunted. We want to be useful to others ~ To all our sisters and brothers. We think of ways we can help ~ We want to do it ourselves. We are hurt if we can't please ~ Don't you agree? It's something in us you know ~ We want our efforts to show. If we can't get credit for a task ~ Our efforts will not last. When it comes to our spiritual life Take my advice ~ God is complete by Himself alone ~ We add nothing to His throne. We can be the finest person ~ But we are no better than a cursing. Because we still are sinners ~ Like little beginners. The things that we do add naught ~ By the Bible His perfection is taught. It is our duty to worship and serve Him ~ Offerings are only the amen. Our duty must be done from the heart, That is the very best art. Empty are the gifts of pride ~ God needs nothing He owns our body and soul inside. He can do just as He wills ~ We need Him to pay our bills. We need Him to give us everything ~ Without Him we are nothing. So next time you think God needs you ~ Remember what you need to do ~ Give God The Glory!
