Give God The Glory Come and sit a spell ~ I have a story to tell. It started long ago ~ when I do not know. Somewhere in God's mind ~ Way back before time. He sat down to draw up a plan ~ The cost of salvation to understand. He would create the earth, And Adam without birth. The man was in a perfect place ~ He could talk to God face to face. Still man was not satisfied ~ He listened when Satan lied. God came to see the man ~ Adam had fig leaves in his hand. Why did he hide? God could see inside. Adam had disobeyed God's will This sent God's Son to Calvary's hill. The second Adam God sent down The Son of God to Bethlehem town. Let me start again When Adam came ~ God had this all planned To save the wicked man ~ Before the world began God drew up that plan. Salvation is God's gift alone The way man had never known. It was God's grace that saw Man could not keep the law. God had decided in His wisdom then To give a portion of faith to men. Not on man's account is this story, But that all would give God the glory!
