President George W. Bush
A man with people all around With a red carpet on the ground. Still he is often alone in a decision Knowing it is right and a conviction. He stands on the firm rock of defense Knowing the power of God is his reference. No one can comfort his lonely nights As the soldiers on the fields fight. His struggle is now with time Will the election turn out fine? The weight of the war presses on To defend the cause of freedom Trying to help a people oppressed For by God we have been so blessed. Food to eat and clothes to wear A place to live with so much care. Yet there are those that live without They are in turmoil and doubt. The President sees all these demands, And presents his bold plans. His faith in God stands firm, And will be the test of the term. He is brave and bold to stand May God continue to bless this man!
