A Mighty Fortress

Strong and secure is this fortress

By His power we are truly at rest.

Over the trials that torture me

His strength will set me free.

Satan with his wicked schemes will arise

But my Master can control his lies.

In His arms The Master will shelter me today

When I come to Him and I pray.

Bold and mighty is His precious Word

On the seas it will still be heard.

No amount of the restless days can stop

My Heavenly Father from reaching the top.

We as humans fail to do things right,

But God will never let us out of His sight.

Yes, He has His chosen little sheep

In His fortress and them He will safely keep!
