America Fair Lady
There is no place to run and hide
Freedom's gates have opened wide.
The enemy is in the camp
Search him out with a lamp.
Welcome to all those in need,
But now some watch us bleed.
America is a lady very fair,
But she now has tangles in her hair.
The lamp in her outstretched hand
Has shown the way to this land.
Brightly glowing in the troubled sea
Oh, yes, she stands for liberty.
She calls out to the tired soul
To give rest to the brave and bold.
Ships set sail near her side,
And return on the rising tide.
America fair lady with sweet air
I see a nest of robins in her hair.
She waves Old Glory with great pride,
And those that love her stand by her side.
Many nations share her goals
To bring peace that makes men whole.
We come together now to fight
The evil we all see in our sight.
The lady has an army of brave men
To protect and help her win.
America fair lady shines for me,
And she protects my liberty!
