The light on the hillside now shines

Across the fields through the pines.

A little glimmer reaches me

When I look at the trees.

It reminds me of how God's love grows

And no matter what it glows.

The true Light forever shines

Even in this heart of mine.

Yes, across the way I see it now

As on my knees before Him I bow.

The shadows seem to shine in the night

Because God is the everlasting Light!
