Diet We all like to eat, But it is our defeat. Some good old snack In a big size pack. The peeling on the banana ~ Will even cause a clamor. Some morsel of tasty food ~ That would be so good. It seems the time will never pass ~ Until you can cook that bass. A saltine cracker to eat ~ Would be such a treat. You get the picture I am sure ~ It takes effort to endure. You can't treat yourself now ~ With a steak from the cow. What will it take this habit to break, And not want a chocolate cake. Do you think exercise will do ~ When all I want to do is chew? It will take a lot of time ~ To make up my mind. I must lose these pounds ~ I know how that sounds. Easy to say ~ Hard to live that way. Carelessness has caused a mess ~ Now I don't fit my dress. I may never be slim ~ The possibility seems dim. Fat free is not sugar free, And sugar free has fat you see. So this is like a long joinery ~ Hope I don't end up on a gurney. Can you relate to this situation ~ And the awful need for dedication? We must all think of God's glory, And that will change the story!
