"So receiving God's promise is not up to us. We can't get it by choosing it or working hard for it. God will show mercy to anyone he chooses."

(Romans 9: 16 NLT)

 Dear Jesus

My heart belongs to you Dear Jesus,

Out in the world it will cause a fuss.

Most cares not what I plan to do today,

Much less to whom I bow my head and pray.

Thanks for watching out for me with mercy,

My desire is for the lost world to see.

There is no one like you that would give all,

You have always been there to catch my fall.

In the depths of my soul I sing to thee,

It was your sacrifice that set me free.

Thank You for always being by my side,

And in my needs you forever will abide.

O' Dear Jesus keep the wicked one away from me,

Bring me ever closer to thy face so I can see!
