Come Again Any Time
Once I saw a child with a tear in his eye.
I questioned, "why do you cry?"
He rubbed his little face
As I watched that day.
He held his hand out to me
With a tiny little key.
"My dad has gone away."
I inquired, "where is he son?"
Then the tears began to run.
I waited to see what he would say
"O kind sir, my dad has gone away
He went to heaven to stay.
Still I miss him so much
When me and mom go to church."
Then I touched his little hand,
And said, "my son God understands.
You can come again sometime
When your dad is on your mind.
I'll listen to your story
About how your dad went to glory-
Come again anytime!"
