Calvary's Hill
Jesus hung on that old cross
To pay for sin's final cost.
He was the perfect sacrifice
He gave Himself to pay the price.
The agony was real for Him
When He died way back then.
Just three nails held Him there
But He chose that awful despair.
It was because He loved us so
That to the cross He did go.
Mary watched her beloved Son
While the sacrifice was done.
That mother's heart was torn
Thinking of when He was born.
There is a happy ending to this story
Jesus arose from the gave and went to glory!
